My husband and I hired Nancy Katz to photograph our wedding in October, 2007. I had known Nancy approximately six years, as a neighbor. I knew that she was creative and intelligent, so I trusted that she would do a reasonably good job when she told me that she had become a wedding photographer. I had no idea how competent and professional Nancy really was! She knew exactly how to capture the moments that we wanted -- even though at that time, we probably didn't! As a bonus, she gave us a mini-album of her favorite photographs, which I carried around with me, and proudly showed to absolutely everyone. One of our friends was getting married within a few weeks of our wedding. She was sufficiently impressed with Nancy's work at our wedding to hire her on the spot.
